I Apologize

I know I have made plenty mistakes in the past,
you got mad, I got mad, but it usually doesn’t last.

Have you ever thought about why that could be?
It’s because of the Love that is common between you and me.

I wish I could go back and change the past,
the bad decisions I made, from the first to last.

The last is the one that I hope we can work through,
so we can continue to share that Love between me and you.

I hope and pray you can find forgiveness in your heart,
to forgive me for the stupid thing I did, it was not smart.

My days and nights are filled with thoughts of you,
what you’re eating, what you’re watching, and what you’ve been through.

For once I really know what I want out of life,
it’s not money or cars, it’s the Love of a wife.
