Starlene Stringer Bio

 

 

 

Starlene Stringer is the Morning Show Co-Host and News and Public Affairs Director at 94.9fm KLTY in Dallas/Fort Worth where she also hosts the weekly talk show, DFW Perspectives with Starlene.  She hosts the syndicated television talk show Even Greater with Reinhard Bonnke, she’s a regular on-air fundraising host for KERA-TV (PBS), an Anchor/ Producer/ Reporter for ICTN, a Best-Selling Author, an Actress/Model signed to the prestigious Campbell Agency, a certified Fitness Instructor for two national fitness chains, a caring volunteer and an Inspirational Motivational Speaker sought after to share her life experiences while encouraging others to live their dreams!

Having survived a helicopter crash while working as a Traffic Anchor for CBS11-TV and KLTY-FM, Starlene knows each day is a gift and she does her best to convey that message through her words and actions.

Among her many volunteer commitments, Starlene served as a weekly volunteer reader to the blind and visual impaired at North Texas Taping and Radio for the Blind (Reading and Radio Resource) for more than 10 years, she’s entertained kids at Children’s Medical Center Dallas for three years and she has traveled as far away as Kingston, Jamaica with Food For the Poor.

Starlene is a graduate of Texas Woman’s University with a degree in Mass Communications.

Her first book release, Speak Through Me:  The Diary of a Military Brat is a National Best-Seller and her latest title I Am Her… and It’s Actually Okay is sure to make a mark on the industry too.
